Here at College Funding Systems/Grossman & Associates (henceforth the company) we are committed to each of our clients’ privacy and security. To this end we have taken steps to ensure that our clients’ information is securely collected and safely stored. Below are some of the steps we have taken to ensure your security.
All physical data that is stored within a physical file including names, client notes, and other physical documents are stored securely in our office in a locked file room. This is in accordance with state and federal mandates for financial services companies.
We permanently delete and destroy any physical documents beyond the allotted timelines (typically two calendar years) as mandated by federal and state guidelines. All items are destroyed by licensed and bonded document destruction vendors.
All information pertaining to financial aid filing and strategizing is kept securely online with a third-party contractor who is licensed and bonded. None of the information or access to a client’s will ever be provided to anyone without express, written consent. The company and any of its representatives, including our third-party vendors, will never sell any of your information.
Upon termination of the service agreement and working relationship, all clients are permanently dead filed. This process includes destruction of all related information beyond contact information and initial contract details for the company’s record keeping purposes. The contact information will never be shared with or sold to any outside parties.
