Charles Spencer

Hello, I’m Charles and I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself. I’m originally from Fairbanks, Alaska. I decided to leave the frozen north for Washington two years ago. After high school, I went to North Dakota and obtained my health education degree. I would return to Alaska to teach health and physical education at my old high school. In addition to teaching, I enjoy coaching, spending time with my dog Rosco, and sports of all varieties. Basketball and football are my favorite sports, but hockey is quickly growing on me.

When I left Alaska and settled in Washington, I tried to find work in fields outside of education and coaching. I quickly found that being away from teaching and coaching left a void. Thank-fully, I am now a part of an amazing team where I once again get to guide students. I am thankful that in this position I have been able to expand my skills in order to serve more people. Being able to work with students in a manner that I am accustomed to is very rewarding. However, I have also enjoyed the opportunity to work with the rest of the family as well. You may not have all of the answers at first, but our team prides itself on being a reliable resource for college preparation and decision making.

Throughout my professional career, I’ve been able to help people navigate unfamiliar areas that I once had difficulty navigating. I wish I would have had access to our service when I was going through the college process. Our company would have been a tremendous value to my family as we struggled and second-guessed ourselves throughout the process. I believe this gives me a unique perspective and informs my approach. I coach in the manner that I would have wanted to be coached. Our company works in much the same way. This process can be difficult and stressful, but you are not alone.
